1. Why did you want to provide all new arrivals at Raiffeisen with a trial month at CK | fitness?
It is important that our new employees gain a dynamic, welcoming image of the company. It is the responsibility of the Raiffeisen Bank delegation to improve employees’ working conditions and promote well-being at work, and the partnership with CK | fitness has helped with this, something that we greatly welcome. I always say that an employee who feels in good shape physically thanks to sport will also feel in good shape mentally, and will therefore be more efficient and motivated when tackling their work. At the end of the day, this benefits everyone – the employee, of course, but also the employer.
2. What does employee health and well-being mean for everyday corporate life?
It is essential! Our job requires us to spend hours sat in front of a computer screen, and we now know the damage this can cause to both our physical and our mental health. It is also well known that physical exertion prevents or reduces feelings of anxiety and depressive moods.
In this context, it is worth noting that Raiffeisen bank is a company that holds corporate social responsibility (CSR) certification, and we therefore organise a health week twice a year.
3. How have your employees responded to this benefit?
Are they generally continuing after their trial month? Employees are generally interested in the package on offer, but take time to think about it before making the move. However, I would say that the majority of people who took advantage of the first free month ultimately signed up for a year’s membership.
4. Why did you choose to partner with CK | fitness, and how did this come about?
The first reason is because CK centres are evenly spread across Luxembourg. This was a key criterion in making our choice, as we wanted as many employees as possible to be able to take advantage of the offer. In addition, the quality of the facilities and the professionalism of the coaches were major factors.
5. Why does Raiffeisen recommend CK | fitness?
I highlighted two key points when presenting our partnership with CK: the quality of the facilities and the professionalism of the staff. I was won over by the connected equipment that allows users to receive personalised tracking and continue their training programme essentially independently. The coaches are very skilled, and at the first meeting they take the necessary time to learn about each person’s physical history and aims in order to create a tailored exercise plan with an appropriate duration. I also noted that the staff are always motivated and available to help clients.

Absolutely! I stopped playing sport for around three years due to lack of time and motivation. I now know that this was a mistake. Once the partnership between CK | fitness and Raiffeisen was established, I thought that it was time for me to get involved again. Mario, my CK | fitness coach, designed a personalised programme for me and I stuck to it completely. I continued training throughout lockdown and recorded my activities in the ‘FitnessApp’ app. CK | fitness also allows you to book a sports time slot online before visiting. They are hugely vigilant regarding health safety standards, which is very practical: we can keep visiting the sports centre with total peace of mind.
